From suggesting Donald Trump change the name for his app to talking about encrypted Twitter direct messages (DMs), Elon Musk is continuously sharing new ideas to improve Twitter since he has purchased the microblogging site.

It seems that Musk is definitely going to make some big changes to Twitter.

Tesla owner on Monday purchased Twitter for $44 billion cash, however, Elon Musk, who once was a critic of Twitter, aimed to make it a better place for free speech.

In a statement on Twitter soon after buying the microblogging site, Musk said, “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated. I also want to make Twitter better by adding new features.”

However, in his latest tweet, Elon Musk who has more than 80 million followers, shared the idea of encrypted DMs on Twitter.

“Twitter DMs should have end-to-end encryption like Signal, so no one can spy on or hack your messages,” he tweeted.

Responding to Elon’s tweet, the head of WhatsApp, Will Cathcart, lauded his idea with a clapping emoticon.
